Presidents’ Message

Rotary International's theme for this year is "The Magic of Rotary." This theme emphasizes the transformative power of Rotary's work in our community and worldwide, showing how our service and collaboration can make the world more magical.

Our Rotary Mission: We serve others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

My first encounter with Rotary’s magic was many years ago during an international service project in Choluteca, Honduras, where we brought electricity to homes after Hurricane Mitch. The Rotary magic is evident every third weekend in May when our community unites to celebrate our main event, the Franklin Rodeo. The rodeo is not just about the thrill and excitement; it also enables us to distribute hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants each year, improving lives and serving those in need in our community and beyond. The impact of our grant distributions, service projects, and the success of the Franklin Rodeo fill us with pride and inspire us to continue our exceptional work. We find the magic of Rotary in the smiles we bring and the hope we inspire.

As we celebrate 75 years of doing good in the world, I am honored to be part of this club's leadership legacy. Our club has a long and proud history, and we will continue to build on that foundation. This year, we will continue our annual giving and service projects, enhance our member experience, pursue leadership and training opportunities, strengthen our internal support, honor our past, put on another record-breaking Franklin Rodeo, and invite others in our community to discover the magic of Rotary.

Rotarians are People of Action driven by a desire to create opportunities, strengthen communities, and solve the tough challenges that affect people everywhere.

Rotary is a team effort; let us face this new Rotary year with enthusiasm, determination, and a shared sense of purpose. Together, we can make some magic!
