Honduras: Where We Belong

Franklin Noon has funded projects to help the poor in Honduras for many years. Projects have included installing electricity in homes near San Marcos de Colon, supporting Helping Honduras Kids school and orphanage in La Ceiba, and providing water to the village of La Pintada near Copan de Ruines. More than $50,000 has been donated to these projects since 2011.

Most recently we donated the money needed to stabilize the Jungle School after landslides destabilized the school structure. Currently we are partnering with the Rotary Club of Copan de Ruines on a major quality of life project for the village of La Pintada. The goal is to improve lives by building bathroom facilities at each family home. This will include a shower and pilla for washing clothes.
